Form of workTo apply to this position, you must be a current Puyallup School District student teacher. We are currently considering qualified candidates to sponsor in obtaining a Washington State Emergency Substitute Certificate to sub for their mentor teachers. This is an on-call, as needed position for their mentor teachers only. Applicants must be comfortable teaching in person and have technology knowledge and skills to be considered for this position.
Minimum Requirements: Must be a current Puyallup School District Student Teacher. Application must be completed and includes reference surveys from three professional references (supervisors). You can tell which professional references have 'submitted' their survey and which professional references are still 'pending'. Unofficial transcripts are required for the application process. If offered the position, official transcripts will then be required.
Once an application is approved, qualified candidates will be contacted by Human Resources to complete hiring paperwork, have fingerprints scanned for a background check, and receive the on-line Substitute New Hire Orientation.
The rate of pay is $187.83/ full day or $101.43/ half day.
