Rate of Pay: $15.00 - - Apply Now DEFINITION The Northampton Public Schools is seeking Substitute Bus Monitors! ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Assist in the transport of students to and from school on buses and vans during the school year.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications - High School diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with students with special needs desirable. Ability to physically assist students to and from the bus and during transportation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Flexibility and maneuverability needed to secure students' wheelchairs, car seats, booster seats and seat belts. Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to sixty (60) pounds. MISC.

INFORMATION Substitute Bus Monitors work 2-4 hours per day (morning and/or afternoon shifts available! $15.00 per hour. IF HIRED: Must have acceptable MA CORI and SAFIS Fingerprint Background Checks prior to start of employment.

Provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or qualify for medical or religious exemption per the Northampton Association of School Employees (NASE) Collective Bargaining Agreement.
