Position: East Garden City Substation Program Cost Analyst
Location: Remote
Duration: 12-month contract with possible extension
Working hours: 60 hours per month (20 hours per week)
The Program Cost Analyst will ensure that the Program generates, among other things, updated lifecycle cost and resource forecasts input into NYPA’s PMIS resource management system, generates accurate annual budgets, and cost forecasts, reviews change orders, accrued costs, contingency reserve management, risk management, and variance explanations. This analyst will advise Project teams on best practices related to cost management. The analyst is also responsible for ensuring all costs for an assigned Program are reviewed and robustly challenged against appropriate benchmarks and cost databases.
The engagement term is (12) twelve months, with the option to extend.
It is expected that the consultant will expend a total of 60 hours per month throughout this engagement.
The majority of this work may be conducted remotely, with an expectation that the consultant shall be present at the NYPA White Plains Headquarters as needed and directed by the Project team or Project and Program Controls.
