Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinical Specialist works as a part of an interdisciplinary clinical team.
- The Clinical Specialist provides clinical oversight and quality assurance to program staff and unlicensed and licensed clinicians who provide community-based mental health, addictions, and or behavioral healthcare services.
- The Clinical Specialist is responsible for adherence to all applicable licensing, supervision, billing, documentation requirements.
- The Clinical Specialist consistently exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance of the duties of the position.
- Additional duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing or a related field of study and either
- Full certification as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or Certified Co-Occurring Disorder Professional (CCDP) in the state of Delaware or by a nationally recognized organization in addictions counseling
