Study Hall Monitor

Job Title: Study Hall Monitor, High School Classification: Hourly (Non-Exempt) - 180 Days/YearPay Rate 6: $15.25 to $15.81 (based on education and experience) Reports to: Principal/Assistant Principal Summary: To monitor, support and provide assistance to student during Study Hall. Qualifications:Associate's degree or, two (2) years college credit or, completion of 1,000 hours in the past year as a paraprofessional or successful completion of ParaPro Assessment Test.Ability to effectively utilize technologyKnowledge and experience with G-Suite, Microsoft Office SuiteHas exceptional communication skillsResponsibilities: Provides supervision of students in the Study Hall classroom and common areas.Assists, instructs, or tutors students with coursework as needed.Assists student with instructional materials assigned by the teacher to promote ongoing skill development.Keeps students focused on assignments.Collaborates with Teachers to best support student needs.Established and maintains effective relationships with students, teachers and staff.Performs other related duties as assigned by administration.
