Studio Latino Instructor
CLASSIFICATION: Temporary
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
LOCATION: PPS and Reynolds School District
TIME FRAME: 3-4 teaching hours per week, once or twice a week, for 8-12 weeks
COMPENSATION: $20/hour; preparation/planning time included; materials provided.

Latino Network is a fast-paced, highly engaged work environment with satellite operations within Multnomah County. In this role, you will support our community by:
- Prepare and teach arts, crafts, or any creative form for grades 3 - 8th grades.
- Track attendance and ensure all students complete an end-of-term project
- Administer pre/post surveys to students
- Act as a positive role model for students.
- Participate and implement support program safety to ensure students are in a safe environment.
Undergoing criminal and passing background checks, including fingerprinting, is required
What we are looking for:
- Knowledge of planning and providing art lessons to students in after-school or virtual environments.
- Willing to work with school-aged children from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Specific areas of expertise that you are passionate about and eager to share with students, such as (but not limited to): art and your enthusiasm for creative expression.
- Desire and ability to work with children to ensure an enriching, positive, and safe classroom.
- Ability to document work continually and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Sensitivity and ability to relate to people from diverse lifestyles, socioeconomic levels, and cultures.
- Willingness to work as a team member and support the mission and goals of the Latino Network.
