POSE Studio Concierge

Location: POSE Studios, Dallas TX

The POSE Studio Concierge is a unique and critically important position – a combination of a Guest Services Representative, Sales Associate and Location Manager.

Delight Our Customers (Guest Services)

As the first and last “face” for the Customer, you are a POSE brand ambassador and must have abundant positive energy, a caring and empathetic personality, and a “nothing gets me frazzled” approach while making the following tasks look effortless:

  • Greet guests (by name, where possible) upon arrival at POSE
  • Answer calls, texts and emails from customers and staff
  • Guide customers on their journey through POSE, making sure they know what to do and go
  • Provide excellent customer service working to answer customer questions and solve problems
  • Give tours to new prospective customers and educate them about our services
  • Collect payments before each class and ensure that clients have paid for attended sessions
  • Represent POSE with integrity and dedication, reinforcing the POSE Value Proposition
  • Maintain high ethical standards and professionalism

Build Our Business (Sales Associate)

Businesses either grow or shrink, but never stay the same. As our lead Sales Associate, the POSE Studio Concierge also plays a pivotal role in making sure our business thrives. Interacting with customers from the position of the front desk, the Studio Concierge is expected to educate, convince and ultimately enroll customers. Specifically, the goal is to:

  • Educate customers on the various memberships and packages offered
  • Ensure that customers understand the benefits and differences of each option
  • Consult with and offer POSE memberships and packages that align with customer needs
  • Present options to maintain customers rather than cancellation of memberships

Manage Our Location (Location Manager)

Making sure POSE customers can realize their full potential depends on “keeping the house in order”. There is nothing worse than a facility that feels dirty, run-down and neglected. Here are some of the tasks to make sure POSE is flawless:

  • Open and/or close the studio at the beginning/end of the day (shift dependent)
  • Inspect and maintain appearance and cleanliness of the location
  • Manage the technology at the location (including computers, music, video)
  • Create the perfect environment via audio (music), light and temperature
  • Interact with key vendors to maintain the facility, electronics, cleanliness, etc.
  • Report (daily, weekly) progress to owners to improve studio operations and procedures

The Perfect Candidate

The perfect candidate has customer service in their DNA and can’t rest until everything is ticked & tied and organized to perfection. Armed with a label maker, a white glove and an Internet connection, nothing is impossible – and it’s all done with a smile.

  • Understands that our goal is to deliver a “red-carpet” experience for our customers
  • Learns new skills proactively and brings suggestions humbly, all with the customer in mind
  • Says “I can help you with that” as almost second nature
  • Helps customers understand the POSE difference and helpfully presents membership options
  • Leverages technology almost magically to improve business processes (Mac expert)
  • Listens intently and speaks clearly so that customers and employees alike feel valued
  • Embraces new challenges as exciting learning opportunities
  • Ability to project a professional and knowledgeable demeanor

Requirements

We are looking for a particular type of person, so there are no absolute requirements. That being said, some things we would look at and discuss will include:

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Perspectives on empowerment, yoga, beauty and business
  • Recommendations from people that can really speak on your behalf
  • Stories of challenges you’ve overcome or lives you’ve changed
  • Customers that will sing your praises
  • How you spend your time (your passions, hobbies, interests)
  • Reading, writing and math skills that are notably better than others
  • Ability to have a semi-intelligent conversation about Gates, Zuckerberg, Jobs or Page (not really, but we are serious about technological prowess)

In 2016, she turned her passion for yoga into a deeper practice and became a certified yoga instructor to help even more people transform their wellness and beauty. She completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training through Yoga Alliance and is currently completing her 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training.

As a passionate, hard-working single mom, April wanted to create more for her family and community. Combining her flair in hair artistry and her advanced yoga practice, she created the concept for POSE fitness + beauty studios in 2019. Since then, she has been building this business with the dream of empowering others to be their best in locations all over Texas.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
