Summary
Our Studio/Graphic/Production Artist freelancer will work within the Studio Department assisting our Studio Artists and Art Directors. There is a mix of production work, both digital and print, photo retouching, and partnering with art directors to pull projects through design execution.
Qualifications
- Degree in Graphic Arts or Design
- 3+ years of design and/or production experience in a graphic arts/production environment
- Speed and accuracy in Adobe CC software:
- InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro (required)
- Animate, code editing software like Dreamweaver or Brackets, After Effects (desired)
- High-quality photo retouching skills
- Working knowledge of front-end web development, social media and digital production
- Working knowledge of print production and prepress
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Produce consistent file results from comp, to layout, to final artwork
- Responsible for production, technical integrity and quality assurance of print, HTML5 animated banner ads, social content and digital/web files
- Monitor art preparation guidelines—recommend technical and procedural updates and changes as needed
- Double-check and correct against brand guidelines
- Manage deadlines and execute on-time and on-task
- Collaborate with Art Directors, Copywriters and Developers on projects from start-to-finish
- Handle projects in an organized and efficient manner that ensures on-time delivery and facilitates the appropriate level of quality
