SUMMARY

The Students & Young Adults Program & Hospitality Coordinator helps students take their next steps toward Christ by providing structure and leadership that invites students into a journey with friends as they are mentored to live on mission, with the purpose God created them to discover and experience. The primary purpose of this role is to disciple students.

On Sunday's, you'll see this Coordinator creating and executing a plan for students to get connected from the moment they step out of the car until they're connected with a group and comfortable.This position will lead weekly programming of Granger Students gatherings and work to execute a comprehensive and biblical teaching schedule in collaboration with the Granger Students team. During the week, the coordinator will help to coordinate and plan events, responsible for the purchasing of supplies, registrations, transportation as well as other detail-oriented planning.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Programming

The Students & Young Adults Program & Hospitality Coordinator will create and implement anything a weekly programming in planning center and schedule volunteers as needed. They will be responsible for the plan for a regular service.

Hospitality

Granger Students will always fight to be a place of belonging from the moment a student steps out of their car to life groups or even on a Sunday morning. If they never attend a Granger Students event, they are still a part of Granger Students. The planning, execution and team building with this in mind is of utmost importance.

Teaching

The content Granger Students teaches and uses is inspired from the recipients, the students. The teaching content will be closely collaborated with the Granger Students team. Planning, execution and scheduling of speakers will all be within this position's ownership.

Logistics & Events

Granger Students has a lot of moving parts and a lot of logistics, database entry and general help with pushing things through to the finish line to completion.

Everything Else

There will always be ministry projects that arise that need assistance or leadership and there is an expectation that everyone on the Granger Students team will be willing and ready to jump in and help wherever needed to see the ministry succeed.

SUCCESS

Success in this role looks like:

A culture of relational ministry where students are connecting in Christ-centered peer relationships and with a mentor who is helping guide them as they take steps of faith.

Trained volunteer leaders engaged in ongoing coaching and equipping that are shaping environments to help students on their journey of faith.

A culture where volunteers are consistently asking, "where can I help?", and Granger Students staff are consistently asking, "how can we involve volunteers?"

Relevant, biblical teaching and Granger Students gatherings that students want to show up for because they feel like they belong, they grow and have fun.

Partnership, support and collaboration with the Granger Students staff as we all seek to do everything God calls Granger Students to do in order to, "Help students take their next steps toward Christ...together."

Keeping the team "on track." Well thought out future planning of events and weekly services.
