Position Summary:

Job SummaryThe Testing and Data Student Associate is responsible for supervising students taking tests in a reduced distraction environment and assisting the Systems Librarian in the accurate, timely, and secure management of library data. This position is defined as a non-exempt position under FLSA regulations. Specific Responsibilities

  • Proctor testing in a reduced distraction environment
  • Understand and apply test-taking policies
  • Manage library data
  • Other job duties as required

Required Qualifications:

EducationSophomore, Junior, Senior. All Majors.
ExperienceAt least one semester of experience working in a library is preferred.Additional RequirementsThis position is paid $9.00 per hour, with an estimate of 4-8 hours weekly.Physical Demand

  • Position requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Position requires the ability to move about the campus.
  • Position requires the ability to talk and to hear instruction.
  • Position requires occasional manual dexterity and the ability to use fingers, hands, and arms to feel, handle, and reach.
  • Working conditions are indoors.
Preferred Qualifications:

One semester of experience working in a library is preferred.
