Form of workA student academic tutor will be asked and expected to tutor student-athletes in various courses. All tutoring will take place in the McClendon Center for Intercollegiate Athletics and will range based on student-athlete need and tutor availability. Tutoring sessions will include 1-3 student-athletes and are expected to last 45 minutes.

Required Education: Must be currently enrolled in the Spring 2024 Semester as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Must attach Spring 2024 ONE class schedule
- Must have earned a B or higher in the specific course or have been award a degree in that area
Skills:
- Must be capable of tutoring the courses specified
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to effectively communicate course material while engaging with our student-athletes in a positive manner
- Must be willing and able to communicate and build relationships with a diverse group of students
- Must be willing and able to gain and maintain working knowledge of university, Big 12, and NCAA rules and regulations
- Must be willing and able to adhere to standards of conduct for Athletics Academics Tutorial Staff
Department Preferences:
- Experience working as a tutor for undergraduate or graduate students
- Experience working with a diverse group of students
- Working knowledge of university, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations
Advertised Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to communicate verbally, hear, and see including color, depth perception and clarity
