What You'll Do

Coordinators oversee significant projects or a majority of department functions with ultimate accountability and focused oversight. They support leadership by implementing change initiatives efficiently and effectively while flexibly assuming new responsibilities. Coordinators are highly engaged in all aspects of the organization with limited cross-functional responsibilities and are mostly present-focused. They manage multiple projects with self-directed, deadline-driven accountability. Although majorly transactional, Coordinators are high-functioning professionals applying discretion and independent judgment while building problem-solving skills.

Essential Functions:

  • Facilitate all aspects of the SNAP Works Employment and Training program, including but not limited to screening students for SNAP eligibility, handling referrals, advisement, case management, budgeting and invoicing, data tracking, and reporting.
  • Assist with recruitment and enrollment functions for adult (and/or high school) students, including, but not limited to, open houses, individual tours, program applications, interviews, and acceptance.
  • Coordinate student advising functions, including college, career, and military preparation, life skills/work readiness, resume development, internship connections, mock interviewing, job placement, and referrals to outside agencies.
  • Provide oversight and administration for financial assistance to all students.
  • Conduct annual analysis on key metrics (enrollment, retention, and placement) and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Support front desk services, including answering phones, face-to-face customer service, and helping students with Student Services functions.
  • Other Job-Related Duties as Assigned by the Supervisor: The omission of duties does not exclude it from the position if similar, related, or a logical assignment to the job. In other words, you'll be helping out on spontaneous projects and opportunities not listed above.

Benefits & Perks

You’ll get a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits plan that includes medical, dental, life, vision, disability, Teacher's Retirement Pension, and 403B matching.
