Position Summary:

The project specialist for Graduate and Extended Studies will be an integral part of the team to provide services to students entering Lincoln University from outside of the traditional pathway of new high school graduate to entering freshman. They will interact directly with students, faculty, high school personnel, military staff, and others to help build seamless connections from our remote and extended campuses to LU.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and answer all enrollment related questions for prospective students for online, graduate, and extended education programs.
  • Plan and coordinate virtual, in-person recruitment and outreach efforts for program growth in online, graduate, and extended education.
  • Process both online graduate and extended education applications, transitioning them to the respective academic departments for review when necessary.
  • Maintain and update all the graduate and extended education webpages, in consultation with academic program coordinators.
  • Work in collaboration with University Marketing and Communications to promote and advertise online and graduate education in various formats to include (e.g. social media, university website, and other forms of outreach).
  • Graduate student recruitment may include travel and preparation of materials.
  • Admit students applying to dual credit, dual enrollment, and graduate school.
  • Work with LU admissions to move dual credit and graduate admissions to the CRM platform.
  • Maintain and update student files for BLS, Prime Power School and graduate school.
  • Prepare and host the annual Command College enrollment event.
  • Collect, analyze, and prepare data for presentation.
  • General office maintenance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of budgets and budget management.
  • Willingness to travel for recruitment purposes as well as to remote sites.
  • Ability to work with data in a variety of formats.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree, Education, Social Work, Psychology, and/or any related social or behavioral science.

Physical Requirements:

  • Light sedentary office work.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
