Perform designated routine tasks related to the efficiency of Therapy Services and to assist with patient care activities and treatments designated by the licensed therapy staff.
Primary duties & responsibilities:
- Follow established procedures pertaining to the care of therapy equipment, maintaining their good working order and aseptic.
- Prepare, maintain, and clean treatment areas; maintain supportive areas.
- Maintain supplies, storage, and order new supplies, as necessary.
- Maintain bathroom facilities in out-patient facility as necessary between patients.
- Transport patients, records, equipment, and supplies in accordance with established policies and procedures of the Therapy Services department.
- Assist patients in preparation for and, as necessary, during and at conclusion of treatment.
- Assemble and prepare equipment and accessories in preparation of treatment; disassemble at conclusion.
- Perform treatment procedures pre-determined for each patient by and under the supervision of licensed therapists.
- Participate in clinical team meetings, in-services, and projects required by Director.
- Assists office personnel with clerical needs as requested by Office Manager.
