Summary:
Performs duties as assigned by management.
Schedule: Weekday evenings (2-3 times per week)
Dept: Microbiology Rapids/Processing
Responsibilities: - Specimen Receiving and Acceptability for UNC Inpatient, Outpatient, and Affiliates - Processing of Specimens - Total Lab Automation (BD Kiestra) - Rapid Antigen Testing: Strep A, Trichomonas, Legionella Urine, and C.difficile - Rapid Molecular testing: COVID, Flu, RSV, MRSA, C.difficile, Blood Culture Panel, Respiratory Panel

- High School diploma or GED
- No licensure or certification required.
- Prior education, training and experience that provides the ability to perform the assigned tasks.
