Job Summary	The College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a Weekend & HolidayKennel Worker to work Weekend & Holidays. This candidate will perform a variety of tasks related to animal care. Working approximately 12 to 14 hours per week, could be more during holidays and summer (schedule will vary). Why should YOU consider student employment at Auburn University? Essential Functions	Independently perform a variety of animal care duties such as (but not limited to) feeding, watering, grooming, and cleaning Assist with animal treatments as needed Visually assess the health and well-being of canines Update health/treatment records May assist with canine transportation May participate in canine exercise and enrichment activities Transport animals to appointments
Minimum Qualifications	Enrolled student at Auburn University Must be a US Citizen Must be at least 19 years old Have a valid driver's license Be able to lift 50+ pounds Have a current tetanus shot
Preferred Qualifications	Previous Canine Whelping/Handling/Kennel Care is preferred
Pay Rate	$12.00/hour
