Stanley Consultants is seeking a Student Intern - Traffic Services for our DeBary, FL officeto provide assistance to the Traffic Engineering Department staff in executing tasks associated with various design and study projects. The ideal candidate will be available to work part-time up to 40 hours/week.
Responsibilities and skills to be developed include:
- Prepare design plans for the following disciplines (not all inclusive):
- Traffic Signals
- Roadway Lighting
- Intelligent Transportation System (ITS)
- Signing and Pavement Marking
- Traffic Control
- Maintain positive working relationship with Clients
Gain knowledge of engineering practices and procedures, including:
- FHWA Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD)
- Florida Design Manual (FDM)
- FDOT Traffic Engineering Manual (TEM)
- Microsoft Office Suite
- MicroStation
Background requirements include:
- Must be pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree
Base Compensation: $19.66 - $24.86
