Position OverviewThe KU School of Business Management and Entrepreneurship Area has coordinated with Healium to provide a business student internship opportunity as a Marketing Intern.
Are you passionate about diving into the world of enterprise sales and business development? Join Healium as a Sales Intern and embark on a transformative journey within the cutting-edge realm of mobile and virtual reality mental wellness products.
This is a part-time position, up to 20 hours per week, until a minimum of 120 hours is achieved. This position will start early June and continue until early August. Due to this being a collaborative position, the position will be remote and will report to both the Director of Entrepreneurship Co-Curricular Programs at the University of Kansas School of Business and the company partner. This position is contingent on funding.

Build brand awareness and support sales with strategic social media campaigns.
25% New Business Development
Assist in prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing new revenue opportunities, channels, and partnerships worldwide.
25% Marketing Strategy and Planning
Collaborate with the sales team to support their sales goals, playbooks, and collateral, contributing to the overall success of the sales initiatives.
25% Campaign Creation and Management
Create email campaigns and drip sequences using the company’s CRM to support sales initiatives.Required Qualifications
  1. During the semester term of the appointment, the Student Hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the Student Hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).
  2. Demonstrated evidence of coachability, time management, and/or self-leadership skills based on application materials.
  3. Demonstrated evidence of creativity, based on application materials.
  4. Evidence of strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. School of Business student.
  2. Initiative and Detail Oriented: Demonstrate strong initiative, self-motivation, and attention to detail in all aspects of the sales process. Strong writing and communication skills
  3. Technical Proficiency: Possess some experience in CRM data management (specifically Hubspot), pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, lead generation, and KPI tracking.
  4. Sales Experience: Previous experience in a technology or SaaS sales environment and a proven track record in new business development is preferred (but not required.)
  5. Project Management Skills: Showcase proficiency in managing initiatives to drive sales success.
