The purpose of this internship program is to provide practical experience, enable the intern to establish a professional network, and provide broad exposure to our organization to college and post-college students to prepare them for their future career.
Hard Rock is looking for a highly creative and ambitious intern to join our design team. You will work closely with other team members to assist in various aspects of the design process, including drafting, sourcing of materials & pricing, presentations and more.
You should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of design.
Design & Construction Process within a Hospitality Corporate Environment:
Cafe Design & Construction Department - how we work with:

Process, Role & responsibility

    • Working with Franchisee and representatives
    • Upholding HRI Brand Standards

• • Working globally
    • Challenges / abilities to work remotely globally
    • Cultural aspect of each region
  • Participating in weekly project calls with all consultants

• • Review of drawings, and details to uphold HRI Brand Standards,

Audio / Video
Emphasis:

1. Function of Restaurant Operations - how that affects layout, design, materials, etc.
2. Importance of coordinated drawing sets from all consultants
3. Quality Control of drawings
4. Design, placement & review of shop drawings of signage for branding
5. Retail standards to review to uphold standards
6. Finding solutions: The middle ground
7. Hard Rock - How our brand differ
