Job Summary:This position is located in the department of the Center for Information Technology Services, Mrs. Donna Hayden, Supervisor.
The primary job responsibility is to monitor and assist students, staff and faculty in the Student Computing Center.

•Proficient with Microsoft Office products, e-mail, and internet

•Creating weekly work schedules for Lab Assistants
•Ensuring the lab is opened/closed properly and in a timely manner
•Reporting and documenting all safety and security issues
•Ensuring that all lab supplies are available upon request
•Assist customers experiencing basic hardware or network problems
•Assistants will ensure that the computer lab is a clean, neat and organized workplace
•Lab Assistants must be prompt, courteous and have the ability to clearly communicate solutions or directions to other Lab Assistants and customers.
•Assist customers with basic software problems on various computer platforms (PC compatibles and Macintosh)
•Successful candidates must have computing experience beyond the typical basics,
