Student Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Opportunity:

West Liberty University is seeking applications for Student Accounts Receivable Specialist.  The Student Accounts Receivable Specialist will be the main point of contact for student inquiries by responding to Student Accounts emails and phone calls.  The ideal candidate will have need to have a sufficient knowledge of Accounting, including but no limited to: 

• Invoicing
• Payment processing and receipt
• Reconcile and post payments to accounts
• Bank reconciliations
• Correspond with third party collection agency
• Prepare campus wide student communications on behalf of Fiscal Affairs

Requirements: 

• Associates degree or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of Accounts Receivable experience, higher education preferred.

Skills/Abilities: 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Ability to perform multiple job tasks under sensitive timelines.
• High level of professionalism.
• Attention to detail
