Volt is immediately hiring a Structural Analysis Engineer that is remote with 25% travel.
As a Structural Analysis Engineer you will be responsible for planning and execution of the aircraft structure development plan.
This is a Full time Direct Hire opportunity with an industry leader in their field!
Required Experience:

• Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering degree from an accredited university
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with related software tools such as FEMAP, Simcenter 3D, Siemens NX/FiberSim, and Abaqus is preferred.

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform structural analysis of aircraft structures using hand analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), and other advanced techniques.
• Develop and coordinate Building Block test program
• Generate, review, and/or approve:
  • Engineering analysis and strength check notes
  • Structural test plans and reports
  • Compliance documentation
  • Structural analysis engineering processes and manuals
• Work with various company departments to ensure integrated structures designs meet all system and aircraft-level requirements
• Define and drive KPI attainment for structures team
• Work with technical experts to build and execute product development schedule, ensuring that all program and system level milestones are attained
• Work directly with nominated Suppliers in ensuring key deliverables/milestones are met
• Continuously monitor and measure project processes and activities to identify and communicate potential inhibitors and implement efficiency improvements
• Ensure revision control for requirements, design documentation and product configuration
• Lead collaboration of cross-functional teams to ensure alignment through execution of successful governance
• Support with planning and alignment meetings towards FAA certification
