Job Description
The position of Structured Cabling Apprentice offers support to many business technology products and services. Role will include installation of Structured Cabling, with potential of CCTV, Access Control, and Integrated AV projects. The Structured Cabling Apprentice will generally support the lead engineer. Consistently demonstrates, “Can Do – Will Do” attitude.
Role and Responsibilities
- Work across multiple special system platforms
- Support the Lead Engineer
- Install and Terminate Cat6, Cat6A, Fiber Optic and multi-pair Cabling
- Willing to work occasional overtime and weekends
- Willing to travel occasionally
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in the installation of low voltage cabling preferred.
- Experience in CCTV, Access Control or Integrated AV is a plus.
- Highly motivated with positive attitude.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Efficient with hand tools.
- Ability to work off a ladder or lift.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Education, Certifications or Experience are all preferred but not required for consideration
