EFK Moen is currently seeking a Structural/Bridge Engineer for a full-time position in our St. Louis, MO and Fairview Heights, IL offices. The company offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefit package.

Job Description:

Work independently performing structural bridge designs in a team-oriented environment. Project emphasis is on Structural/Bridge designs for DOT and related clients. The projects range in scope from small to multi-million-dollar designs.

Duties & Responsibilities

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive:

• Daily production of Structural/Bridge design plans, structural calculations, reports, etc.
• Leadership that delivers quality design while adhering to the project budget/schedule
• Responsible and accountable for client/customer satisfaction and technical project execution
• Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

• BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited program is required
• EIT license is required (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• PE license encouraged
• DOT project experience
• MicroStation CAD software experience
• Knowledge of structural design software
• Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills are required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Physical Qualifications

• Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods of time
• Ability to type and/or use a computer for extended periods of time
• Sufficient visual ability to focus attention on extended use of electronic documents and software
