Structural Engineering Intern (College Student)

Our team of professionals operates in some of the most challenging environments to provide support services to a variety of governmental agencies globally.
The Challenge:
We are seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to join our growing design team in our Chicago office.
Principle areas of responsibility are:
- Preparation of construction documents, including specifications
- Wet and dry utility design including sizing and alignment
- Quantity take offs for estimating purposes
- Grading and drainage design, including storm water management and storm sewer design/calculations
- Use third party applications (AutoTURN, Hydraflow) to generate drawings based on specific project requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering from an accredited university, graduating senior required
- EIT registration is preferred
- Ability to travel internationally
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Microstation
- 0-3 of experience in design within the Structural Engineering discipline
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance
