Job description

As a Civil Engineering Intern, you'd be joining our Bridge Group in either the Greenwood Village or Downtown Denver Office in beautiful Colorado.

You'll work alongside professional engineers and designers, gaining exposure to project coordination, relevant computer-assisted engineering software, data collection, and so much more. You'll provide support to the Bridge Group on design projects for clients such as state, county, and municipal transportation agencies. This posting is for the Summer 2024 start.

  • In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program with a 3.0 or above GPA
  • Must be at least a rising Junior
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software
  • Ability to perform field investigations and verify/evaluate existing bridge condition
  • Ability to manage and achieve scheduled milestones, budget constraints and quality benchmarks on assigned projects and tasks.

Ideally, you'll also have:
  • Basic knowledge of structural design/analysis concepts through related courses, projects, or previous internships
  • Basic knowledge or be familiar with structural design standards (AASHTO, ACI, AISC, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of MicroStation, SAP2000, STADD or similar structural design/analysis software
  • A passion of pursuing a career in Structural Engineering
  • Solid writing and communication skills
  • Self-driven time management and organizational skills
  • A willingness to learn new concepts, work on awesome projects and be part of an amazing Bridge Team

The base salary range for this position is $22.80 to $26.80. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
