Civil Structural Engineer - Job ID: 1274438 - Location: Georgetown, KY 40324

Position Responsibilities:
- Provide direction on civil and structural investigations [ Parking lots, concrete pits, building mods]
- Serve as N.A. "Subject Matter Expert" related to Civil & Structural systems.
- Provide technical support to N.A. facilities in areas of design and pre-construction planning.
- Serve as N.A. "Subject Matter Expert" related to Civil & Structural systems.
5. Investigate building industry trends, global Toyota trends, and current/past building issues too. - Introduce innovation and improvements for N.A. civil/structural and building systems.
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop project criteria, scope, estimate and project schedules.
- Provide internal review of Civil & Structural system drawings from outside engineering firms to support system implementation.
- Ensure compliance with related local, state, national codes, facility operations and Client.
- Experience in building design and construction.
- Experience in industrial and/or office buildings and building related systems.
- Experience reviewing structural steel shop drawings, connection drawings, and erection plans.
- Experience with project planning including estimating, scheduling and scope/proposal development.
- Intermediate level experience of computer skills (AutoCAD, Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Projects, & Outlook.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% when required.
- Willingness and ability to work up to 20% overtime when required.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with a Major in Civil Engineering
- Level of experience 5-10 years
- 5+ years in civil/Structural engineering design
- Experience in design criteria development for civil & structural systems.
- Automotive experience with engine, transmission, or vehicle facilities or similar industrial manufacturer.
- Ability to travel once a month to meet with Customer [ Boots On]
- Good organizational skills, communication skills, schedule management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, AutoCAD
