Job Title:Strength Training Coach

Location: Fort Knox, KY

Duties:

• Coordinate, execute, and manage evidence-based strength and conditioning programs at all levels of ability.
• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute musculoskeletal conditions before, during, and after PRT in close proximity to where Soldiers train.
• Provide expert coaching on proper body mechanics and efficient movement techniques in the training and field environment and in consultation with a physical therapist.
• Eliminate developmental barriers and non-functional movement patterns.
• Provide expert coaching on dealing with the constantly varied rules of the sport of CrossFit to avoid injury.
• Provide expert coaching on dealing with pivotal competition-related decisions that could risk injury.

Education & Qualifications:

• Must have a bachelor’s and 2- year master’s degree in the appropriate fields and appropriate strength & conditioning certifications for the National Strength & Conditioning Association.
• A personal and professional experience working with and treating elite athletes for a sustainable H2F program.
• Licensed/certified professional and subject matter expert in strength & conditioning and athletic training, specifically for working with elite athletes in the sports of CrossFit and weightlifting.
