MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A Bachelors Degree in an academic field related to the health sciences or allied sciences such as exercise physiology, kinesiology, or other related curricula
focused on fitness assessment, or physiological adaptation to exercise and exercise program design and three years of experience in the fitness field. Able to provide proper education and training on: functional fitness, injury prevention, sports nutrition, proper execution of prescribed exercises and other related subjects. Will currently have or obtain within 6 months, National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Tactical Strength and Conditioning certifications (TSAC). Skill to plan, develop, evaluate HITT program effectiveness. Knowledge of and experience in administration of health screenings, fitness assessments, exercise prescriptions, conducting progressive individual fitness programs, and demonstrating proper exercise techniques sufficient to conduct comprehensive health and fitness programs. Current certifications in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and automated external defibrillator (CPR/AED) and First Aid.
This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
