The Opportunity:
Position Summary
Primary Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Director of Strategic Sourcing, the Strategic Sourcing, Contingent Workforce Program Manager will implement and evolve the company's program on its Contingent Workforce and Professional Services engagements. The ideal candidate is experienced in independent contractor compliance, and statement of work simplification, a creative thinker, process-oriented, and skilled at partnering and negotiating with various individuals at all levels within the organization.
Position Expectations:
- Serve as the principal point of contact for the Contingent Workforce management program
- Implementing and running the contingent work program that includes:
- Policy creation, development, and maintenance consistent with Company and Indirect Procurement policies
- Implementation and management of our Fieldglass system to track suppliers, workers, and SOW engagements
- Development of a training & change management strategy for hiring managers
- Creation of training guide for contingent workers
- Data analytics and reporting including but not limited to workers, suppliers, savings, and spend
- Manage the lifecycle of contingent workers: From vetting IC compliance (through a third party) to onboarding/orientation through to assignment monitoring and offboarding; respond with a sense of urgency to hiring needs
- Monitor and audit policy exceptions or issues
- Keep up with legal changes impacting the program and Contingent Workforce and partner with our internal Legal team
- Manage the strategic roadmap of the continent Workforce Program
- Serve as the system administrator for the system (Fieldglass) and iteratively evolve it by introducing integrations that allow for more streamlining
- Ensure delivery of analytics and reporting to senior leadership to various departments and business partners
- Educate and inform managers on policies and procedures involving the Contingent Workforce population and program to mitigate risk
- Negotiate professional services engagements as required to support the category managers across various Indirect category portfolio engagements
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Contingent Workforce management preferred
- Experience with compliance (especially with independent contractor compliance), auditing, program implementations, and/or process improvement
- Experience with SOW drafting and redlining
- Experience negotiating with large and boutique professional services and agency suppliers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail and service-oriented and the ability to interact with multiple individuals of all levels within the company
- Strong ability to handle sensitive matters diplomatically, tactfully, and with the utmost discretion
- Proven ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and with agility
- Advanced Excel skills for reporting
- Experience with using vendor management systems (Fieldglass, including the SOW module)
- Support automation and streamlining of processes and tools for improved self-service user end-user experience
- University degree or equivalent experience
The annual base salary range for this position is $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant's qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
