Summary
Enru Logistics and Postal Optimization is looking for a Buyer to join our team. The role will provide local and/or regional level procurement activity execution and support. Implementation of standard procurement methodology, tools, and processes. Source materials / services in alignment with strategic plan. Support Enru's commodity strategy implementations at the warehouse level. Role preferred to be hybrid in Bolingbrook, IL., location negotiable.
Responsibilities:

• Execute order placement and issuance of POs in accordance with policies/procedures in SAP ERP system.
• Responsible for timely blocked invoice resolution and avoidance.
• Work closely with AP for supplier payments.
• Leads efforts with external benchmarking and implementation of best practices.
• Participates in Sourcing process improvement initiatives and tools including project planning and implementation.
• Participates in the identification of stakeholder needs and delivers appropriate communication internally and externally to meet the needs of Operations.
• Collaborates with Purchasing Manager to communicate and implement purchasing category best practices.
• Collaborates with internal partners to communicate and drive utilization of preferred suppliers.
• Conducts negotiations on medium scale projects to achieve department objectives.
• Under general direction, create SAP reports and use data to conduct price & cost analysis to drive savings.
• Utilizes effective presentation skills to address stakeholders' needs; Communicates with Senior Mgmt. across organization.
• Participates in the development/documentation of robust training, policy, and procedure materials.
• Works closely with internal partners on sourcing decisions to ensure supplier contribution and performance requirements are met.
• Ability to co-lead cross-functional teams across functional boundaries

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate knowledge of price and cost analysis tools to -identify cost savings.
• Bachelor's degree in discipline related to functional work or role with 3-5 years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
• Knowledge of the critical factors affecting sourcing and supplier management.
• General knowledge of tools/techniques of competitive and collaborative purchasing and price and cost analysis tools. Experience working in SAP a plus.
• Skilled in Microsoft tools
• Skilled in negotiating and understanding purchasing contract language. Intermediate skills in developing or applying effective and proactive supplier management techniques and tools.
