Job description

The Strategic Pricing Analyst will work cross-functionally with members of the Sales, Commercialization, Supply Chain and Sales Operations Teams to develop, create, and prepare pricing analysis. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Pricing, this role will be responsible for implementing the Pricing Department's role in ACR's strategy plan. Ultimately, this position is responsible for building models, determining market comparisons, and ensuring pricing proposals meet the necessary margin targets. This position will work across other functional teams with a continuous improvement mindset to identify and deliver most accurate cost, market dynamics and pricing updates to the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pricing Analysis
  • Work closely with sales, finance, sourcing, supply chain and leadership gather, analyze, and report data and results associated with ACR's pricing efforts.
  • Filter and "clean" data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify problems and determine solutions.
  • Compile and maintain pricing data and trackers to support sales and senior leadership.
  • Track metrics and support contract renewal reviews through data and analytics.
  • Analyze cost and market pricing trends utilizing input costs and pricing analysis. Make recommendations for changes in methods, procedures, and structure to mitigate cost risks.
  • Play a critical role in implementing ACR's new RFP process.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • 1-2 years' proven working experience in a supply chain, distribution, or manufacturing organization.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and can explain large amounts of information in a simple, organized matter.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and data acumen with the ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations
  • Willingness to learn, take on challenges and develop and apply problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaborative interpersonal skills, including presenting data to various functional groups and leadership.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel is required (pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis/manipulation) - Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Proven capability of handling multiple projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing demands.
