Overview:

Flexjet, a leading global provider of fractional private jet ownership and leasing, is seeking a qualified candidate to join the Global Marketing Department as a Strategic Partnership Manager. This person will join the Acquisition & Retention Marketing Team, a growing group of event & partnership marketers and specialists within the Global Marketing Department. This role is part of the exciting and continued growth Flexjet has experienced over the past decade. Partnerships are core to our owner retention, customer acquisition and private travel experiences, making Flexjet a global aviation leader.

The Strategic Partnership Manager is a relationship focused, brand-marketing & sales-minded position, responsible for the identification of new relationships, and the renewing of all existing corporate partnership relationships, including the contract negotiation, overseeing the creation of the partnership guide, planning, and executing partnership related events, implementation of partner promotions, and traveling to visit partners and maintain positive working relationships. This role’s focus is to build, cultivate, and nurture the relationships with the partner brands, working to ensure that Flexjet is top of mind to partners and Flexjet customers feel a deep connection to the partner brands. They will work with the Director of Acquisition & Retention Marketing to confirm that the partnership marketing strategies are aligned with the goals of the company and oversee the implementation of each partner promotion to our owner base. They will be responsible for monitoring each campaign performance, track partner redemptions and maintain the partnership budget. Must be able to report back to the Director of Acquisition & Retention on partner promotion outcomes, trends, adjustments, and recommend brands for future partnerships. The Strategic Partnership Manager must also collaborate with the Events & Partnership Concierge on responding to owner requests and manage project timelines while advocating team collaboration.

Responsibilities:

Accountable for overseeing all brand and marketing activity related to Flexjet’s 40+ strategic partners across the luxury marketplace, including:

  • Identify, renew, and recommend mutually beneficial relationships that provide revenue and add value to existing Flexjet Owners.
  • Manage all stages of the partnership lifecycle, including contract negotiation, onboarding, activation planning and measurement. Source new brand partners and negotiate letters of agreement that foster a strong co-marketing relationship.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing partners, both domestically and globally.
  • Develop and deliver winning promotions, events and campaigns that highlight the partnership program and aid in the goals of The Company.
  • Lead the project management timeline and go-to-market strategy for the Owner Partnership Guide.
  • Comfortably collaborate with many departments throughout the organization to ensure successful partnership and relationship.
  • Participate in the collaboration and coordination of the FXLUXE Destination Guide programming and planning

Other responsibilities may include:

  • As part of the Loyalty & Retention team, you may be required to assist in the production of Flexjet events throughout the calendar year.
  • Source and manage the company stock of promotional items, housed at Flexjet’s Headquarters for company swag and owner gifting.
  • Responsible for quarterly and yearly metric reporting to show the value add of the partnership program.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with Flexjet brand ambassadors.
  • Creatively develop new partner programs and promotions and execute the implementation of partner related events
  • Strong ability to be communicate on behalf of the Flexjet brand to partners, owners and executive leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales or relevant field.
  • 3 + years’ experience in managing marketing strategies and campaigns and/or proven success in revenue generating sales, preferably for a luxury brand or service.
  • Experience running promotional campaigns and working with cross-functional teams/specialists to track and optimize campaign performance.
  • Experience in planning and executing events is a plus.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, must be comfortable prioritizing tasks, demonstrate flexibility, display a strong work ethic, fanatical attention to detail and sense of urgency.
  • Innovative and creative thinker; proactively identifies opportunities; motivated by challenge, change, and opportunity to help our brands look at things differently.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects simultaneously, and work in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proven ability to create and maintain co-marketing relationships.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with C-level executives and consistently communicate with Director of Acquisition & Retention Marketing.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Outlook), Salesforce, Smartsheets, and Workfront. (or similar platforms).
  • 30% travel is expected.
  • Must work from our corporate headquarters in Cleveland.
