Position Summary
As a part-time Hospitality Partnerships' Consultant (1099) you will be in charge of strategic partnerships and alliances, relationship building, and meaningful connections within the hospitality and travel sectors. This is a pivotal role at JORNY, as you will be a key player by building and nurturing strategic business relationships. Your responsibilities will include identifying and engaging potential partners, negotiating agreements, and ensuring mutually beneficial terms with strategic alliances. Additionally, you'll be tasked with researching industry trends, managing leads and prospects, and driving negotiations forward.
This role offers flexibility to work either at our NYC offices or remotely, with occasional travel required.
Responsibilities
1. Relationship Management:- Build and maintain strong relationships with partner organizations, vendors, influencers, social media presence, thought leaders, etc including regular communication, meetings, and updates on progress.
2. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic plans for partnerships that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
3. Negotiation:- Negotiate partnership agreements, contracts, and terms to ensure mutual benefit for both parties. Note, any partnership that is high value will be given to the management team to execute negotiations.
4. Project Management-: Oversee the implementation of partnership initiatives, ensuring they are executed effectively and efficiently, and provide timely updates or progress reports. Must be able to be autonomous and own the project with little oversight.
5. Performance Tracking: While we are developing this portion of responsibilities, please find solutions to monitor and track the performance of partnerships against predefined metrics and KPIs, and make adjustments as needed to optimize outcomes.
6. Problem Solving: Address any issues or challenges that arise during the partnership, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to find solutions.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:: Work closely with various internal teams such as sales, marketing, product development, and legal to support partnership initiatives and ensure alignment across the organization.
8. Market Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to identify potential partnership opportunities and assess market trends and competitive landscape.
9. Communication: Act as a liaison between partner organizations and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the partnership lifecycle.
10. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports and presentations on partnership activities, outcomes, and ROI for internal stakeholders and senior management.
11. Continuous Improvement:: Continuously evaluate and refine partnership strategies and processes to drive growth and maximize value for the organization.
12. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all partnership activities comply with relevant regulations and mitigate any potential risks to the organization.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years proven experience in partnership management, and building collaborative connections within the hospitality sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, vendors, influencers,, and any other partnership that may be beneficial to the company’s overall mission.
- Familiarity with the mid-lifers and beyond market segment is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
