Consumers Self Help Center is a consumer run agency providing advocacy, peer support and education for individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues. The mission of CSHC is to develop and implement consumer driven programs and services based on the self-help philosophy and provide culturally competent and integrated co-occurring mental health and substance abuse services that support participants in a strength-based process of wellness and recovery based on empowerment, self-responsibility, and integration into the community.

Consumers Self Help Center is seeking aresponsible candidate for a critical roleas a Strategic Coordinator
We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our nonprofit organization as a Strategic Coordinator. This position will work within various programs and the administration office of the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the implementation of change initiatives and projects to drive organizational growth and effectiveness, with a focus on both employee and consumer experiences. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions, effective communication, and successful change management strategies. The ability to multitask, manage several projects, and meet changing deadlines is essential to the position.
Administration office related duties: 30%
· Collaborate with executive leadership to develop programs and initiatives to foster a positive work culture. Where applicable, aid in implementation processes.
· Support executive and program leadership in developing and implementing change management policies, procedures, and best practices.
· Collaborate with HR and management teams to develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development and implementation of employee training and development programs relative to employee experience.
· Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management strategies and adjust plans as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
· Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in employee experience and satisfaction.
· Other relevant duties as assigned.
Program-related duties: 70%
· Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on employee experience best practices.
· Support candidate recruitment, employee onboarding, training, and exit processes of programs as it relates to employee attraction, retention, and satisfaction.
· Continuously engage in program service provision processes to maintain knowledge of employee experience 1sthand. Aid employees in real time with coaching as it relates to consumer-driven practices and professional standards and expectations.
· Oversee quality of services to consumers and providers in relations to program scope of work, adherence to best practices, and professional standards.
· Comply with all program policies, procedures, including HIPAA standards.
· Conduct regular surveys and assessments to gauge employee satisfaction levels and identify areas for improvement.
· Act as a point of contact for employees to address concerns, issues, and suggestions.
· Identify and address any issues related to employee morale, work-life balance, and workplace culture.
· Conduct change readiness assessments to identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities associated with the proposed changes.
· Other relevant duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications

· Lived experience preferred which may include: self-identification as a consumer of member of mental health services and/or substance use or an immediate family member of someone who identifies as a consumer of previously stated service
· A combination of education and/or work experience that demonstrates your ability to perform the duties of this position (e.g.: bachelor's degree in organizational development, organizational psychology, a related field, OR 10+ years of experience in change management, employee engagement/satisfaction, program management, or related roles.)
· Strong understanding of employee experience, best practices, and strategies.
· Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence at all levels.
· Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
· Ability to drive and manage projects while ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
· Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Detail-oriented and highly organized.
· Complete program-specific trainings as an aid to both program needs and program staff experience.
· Proficient computer skills e.g.: Microsoft Word, Excel, outlook, etc.
· Flexibility and adaptability to navigate and manage ambiguity and resistance to change.
· Experience working in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization is preferred.
· Clearance on Background/DOJ Live scan result per contract requirements
· Willingness to travel throughout Sacramento and surrounding counties as needed.
