Storeroom Clerk

Storeroom Clerks could perform, but not limited to, one or more of the following duties:

• Responsible for following defined storeroom workflow processes
• Issue parts to work orders as required.
• Material Receipts - Breaks down and receives incoming shipments, verifying that materials and quantities match Packing List contents. Ensures material receipts are properly documented in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Reports shipment discrepancies to buyer, receiving and maintenance supervisors completes required forms.
• Perform necessary tasks around parts reservations and reporting
• Performs quality inspections on incoming material.
• Labels and stores received material as directed.
• Collect information and take photographs for claims on in-transit damage items.
• Bar Coding Equipment - Uses bar code scanners, docking stations, and other equipment as required in the documentation of material movement in the warehouse.
• Material Storage and Care - Stores material as directed, conducts inspections of material as required for Shelf-life Program.
• Conducts periodic inventory cycle counts and physical inventories as directed.
• Prepares for and participates in audits as directed.
• Adheres to the highest quality and safety standards in the performance of all job responsibilities.
• Responsible to handle and store hazardous material inventory in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Storeroom Security - Monitors personnel traffic in and out of the warehouse, challenging persons not authorized access to warehouse spaces, reporting suspicious personnel or behavior to Storeroom Supervisor. Ensures that physical security barriers (doors, gates, etc) are secure at all times.
• Responsible to perform scheduled preventative maintenance for motors and gearboxes stored in the Maintenance, Repair and Operating (MRO) materials inventory.
• Kitting - Stages materials as required supporting work order material requirement and supporting planners and engineering.
• Movement of Material - Moves/relocates materials as required using hand truck, forklift, vehicle, or other means.
• Understand the various storeroom transactions in the CMMS.
• Understand purchase orders, work orders, packing slips, and how each references the other.
• Housekeeping - Keeps Storeroom spaces clean and walkways/aisles clear of materials or refuse in accordance with 6S directives.
• Manage records created and received in compliance with Pinnacle Foods Group Records Management Policy and Procedures.
• Stocking and re-organizing for new stock part arrivals
• Assist in part identification which may require equipment identification to check bill of materials in EAM and ELKE, old purchase orders, equipment manuals, various catalogs and/or internet.
• Be aware of deficiencies or overages and adjust stock count appropriately.
• Maintain area in clean and orderly fashion.
• Call vendors as needed to get pricing/availability for new parts or repairs including emergency breakdowns that may be after hours or weekends.
• Adjust part descriptions, suppliers, part numbers, pricing, etc. as needed.
• Enter RTS in AS400 for any item leaving building for returns, repairs, etc.
• Other duties as may be assigned by Plant Leadership.
