American Eagle Paper Mills is seeking full-time Storehouse Assistant.
SHIFT: Day – Monday through Friday
LOCATION: 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Tyrone PA 16686
POSITION STATUS: Full Time, Hourly, Non-exempt
Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receive priority instruction from the Stores Manager/Buyer and fill-in for him/her in the event of their absence.
• Receive, store, issue, and direct delivery of incoming MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) material throughout the Mill.
• Maintain physical inventory in Item Master.
• Fill daily orders from various departments in the Mill.
• Receive UPS and FedEx deliveries, and ship items via UPS and FedEx.
• Operate fork truck and hand operated pallet lift as required.
• Direct the storage and route incoming shipments of Mill materials to appropriate area listed on the receiving document.
• Maintain material and supplies for Capital Jobs, i.e. location, quantity, tracking number and coordinate information with Project Sponsor.
• Maintain clean floors, shelves and perform any painting required in the Storehouse.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Observing all Mill and department safety policies and procedures.
• Understanding the hazards in the workplace and working safely and responsibly.
• Maintaining a good area of housekeeping in the department and disposing of any waste according to the department's requirements.
• Maintain quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Must have previous inventory, filling, ordering experience.
• Must have fork truck experience.
• Must be able to walk distance to the work area and throughout the plant.
• Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours daily.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to read and comprehend a tape measure.
• Exceptional attendance is required.
• Previous manufacturing experience is helpful, but not required.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing environment which requires the use of appropriate safety equipment including safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection in all areas of the Mill. In some areas, hard hats may be required. Cut-resistant gloves and face shields may be required while performing some duties.
