260 Sample Sale is a New York based family owned & operated business running weekly sample sale events in NYC, LA, Miami, Chicago and Online! Our private & public events include top brands in apparel, accessories and beauty, including: Marc Jacobs, Aquazurra, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Oscar de la Renta, SoulCycle, Reformation, J Crew, NEST Fragrances, & more!

Your Role:

Each week 260 Sample Sale hosts different brands at each of our locations. One week you can be in Soho location managing a luxury brand sale, and the next week you can be at our NoMad location managing a home goods brand. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment & looks forward to new challenges each week.

You are expected to maintain a well-stocked, well-staffed store, to provide customers with the best possible shopping experience. Here at 260 Sample Sale we encourage you to develop your team and utilize their expertise when managing one of our locations. We are looking for candidates who love fashion and customer service.

Expectations:

· Complete store operational requirements by assigning employees to sections and delegating tasks.

· Maintains store staff job results by checking in on their job performance. Utilizing rewards and disciplinary action when needed.

· Ensure proper presentation, organization, and replenishment of merchandise on sales floor.

· Strive to exceed customer expectations by showcasing detailed knowledge of each brand.

· Demonstrate dedication and professionalism while engaging with customers.

· Lead by example and assist team members in maintaining sales floor throughout the day.

· Secures merchandise by being in constant communication with security team.

· Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.

· Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.

· Maintains technical knowledge of POS system.

Qualifications:

· The ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

· Excellent communication and organizational skills

· Flexibility and availability to work weekends including holidays

· Team player / great team spirit

· High School Diploma Required

· At least 3+ years of retail management experience

· Ability to develop a budget and review financial statements

· Ability to stand 8-10 hours in one shift

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
