GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Store Manager is responsible for ensuring superior customer service in their store. They must develop associates at all levels, drive sales and profitability, and maintain effective expense and payroll budget management. They will also ensure compliance with effective inventory management and merchandising practices and all store policies and procedures.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
High School or GED equivalent required, college degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Must have retail hardware management experience.
Physical Demands
Standing for extended period of time, walking, lifting (up to 40 lbs), and climbing.
3-5 years retail management experience.
Strong leadership and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks with a high attention to detail.
Knowledge of retail computer systems, MS Word and Excel a plus.
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
Commitment to serve and provide excellent customer service.
Ace Hardware experience preferred.
Immediate position needed to be filled.
Salary Range: $ 60,000.00 - $70,000.0
