The Manager in Training (MIT) is responsible for developing and applying the skills learned in the MIT program to effectively manage the overall appearance and operation of the store. This position continues to provide MOM's remarkable Customer Service and is storewide cross trained to make sure store shelves are properly stocked and departments receive support as needed. In addition, the MIT will supervise MOM's Team Members in completion of these tasks. MOM's departments may include: Front End, Grocery, Wellness, Produce, Naked Lunch/Bakeshop. This position is located in MOM's stores.

1. Completes MOM's Manager In Training (MIT) Program in order to successfully lead the store.
2. Open and/or close the store.
3. Identifies and escalates issues appropriately such as customer issues, data, maintenance, product concerns, and employee concerns.
4. Responsible for proper cash handling.
5. Supervises MOM's Team Members in all areas of the stores as well as completing store tasks:
1. Practices exceptional customer service including patience, active listening and problem solving.
2. Greets customers, answers their questions and helps them find products and/or makes recommendations.
3. Stocks shelves and displays as assigned.
4. Unpacks store deliveries and organizes the stockroom.
5. Make sure all products are fresh and within the expiration date.
6. Cleans and sanitizes assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
7. Follows the company's operational policies and procedures within the store.
8. Assists in various store departments as needed, including cashiering and bagging.
9. Collaborates with coworkers across store departments in order to complete assigned tasks.
6. Complete required training including HIVE modules.
7. Other duties as assigned.
