Eastern National (EN), a not-for-profit partner of the National Park Service (NPS), is seeking a Store Design Coordinator with a strong work ethic for our Merchandise Department. The Store Design Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the execution of all Eastern National (EN) store design projects, and for helping develop and implement company-wide policies and programs for all merchandising activities of the organization.

This is a full-time non-exempt position, and the selected candidate may work remotely or in our Headquarters office in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. Extensive travel is required and will fluctuate with the time of year and the number of projects

The Store Design Coordinator collaborates with the Director of Merchandise and outside vendors to create the concepts for store design projects; coordinates all store design projects and renovations according to the project plan. In addition, the Store Design Coordinator will have key responsibilities in Visual Merchandising Oversight along with secondary duties in Merchandise Inventory Tracking and Coordination, Agency Improvement Coordination, and Cross-functional Communication.

Education, Experience, Abilities or Knowledge:

1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
2. At least 3 years’ experience in multi-store retail management, with specialized training or experience in store design and merchandising.
3. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
4. Ability to work professionally with multiple stakeholders who have varying priorities.
5. Ability to remain flexible and calm amidst having to troubleshoot time sensitive issues and shifting timelines.
6. Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks and operate effectively under pressure/deadlines.
7. Solid knowledge of fixtures, lighting, floor coverings, etc.
8. Knowledge of design software and Microsoft Office. CAD, and Sketch Up is preferred but not required.
9. Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 25 pounds to a shelf height of 5 feet.
