Stockroom Coordinator - 1st & 3rd Shift Opening
Starting Rate: $20.75/hour
Must be able to work weekends and overtime.
PURPOSE - The Stockroom Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the maintenance stockroom, ordering parts, stocking shelves, maintaining inventory levels, cleaning, and retrieve incoming packages from the receiving dept.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES - The following duties will be performed daily:
  • Understand flow and concept of CMMS Database and stockroom procedures
  • Be able to Navigate in SAP
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other windows based programs
  • System Admin for SAP
  • Create Inventory Records
  • Create Quotations for stock reorders and Maint Tech requisitions then create PO's in SAP and Ariba
  • Receiving Procedures in SAP & Ariba for all created PO's
  • Spot check and cycle count of inventory using SAP
  • Ownership of maintenance parts cage including control of personal entering the cage.
  • Ensuring the approved personnel enters the parts cage only and ensures entry is only allowed with a work order in SAP.
  • Create Work Orders for purchasing
  • Train others how to check out parts to Work Orders
  • Manage multiple SCOA's in SAP for Finance
  • Create bar code labels for receipts and Stock Locations
  • Do in-house ordering using machine shop as vendor
  • Handle parts discrepancies with vendors
  • Handle cost discrepancies with A/P
  • Do follow-ups once a week for overdue PO's
  • Use Ariba to create shopping carts and purchase orders
  • Creates reports and labels from Crystal Reports for maintenance use
  • Shipping of items/equipment out for repair while creating a traceable paper trail
  • Makes sure all lubricants are properly stored and kept separated (food grade/non-food grade)
  • Negotiate best price for products being purchased
  • Keeps stockroom clean, organized, and 5Sed.
  • Must be able to operate electric pallet jack and forklift.
  • Ability to work scheduled/unscheduled daily and weekend overtime
  • Must have excellent communication Skills
  • Operates equipment and works safely, follows all GMP guidelines and keeps work area clean.
  • Must be able to have professional relationships with internal and external customers and vendor
  • Participates in meetings
  • Supports the Jacksonville plant FSQ and QRMP initiatives on any and all procedures/programs pertaining to product safety.
  • Trains others
  • Fills in for other positions as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Additional responsibilities of this position includes assisting in the creation of a culture of safety and health by performing work safely in accordance with all company safety procedures. Operates equipment safely and reports any unsafe work conditions or practice to supervisor. Occupational safety and health performance is measured in this position

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES-
  • Knowledge of CMMS programs; MP2 preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other Windows based programs.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance parts.
  • Able to operate fork lifts and electric pallet jacks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment desired
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
