POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Stockroom/MRO Supervisor, the Stockroom Assistant will support Stockroom and Production control functions as well as provide customer support to Mobex employees and suppliers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Receive purchase orders and accounting.
- Leads all repair transactions including filling out repair tags, filling out Fedex/ shipping documents and preparing for shipment.
- Remove repaired items from shippers as they come in.
- Processes requisitions and converts them into purchase orders to support stockroom supervisor and assistant indirect buyer.
- Act as a backup and/or support for the assistant buyer.
- Support inventory control to both assistant indirect buyer and stockroom attendants.
- Support the Stockroom Supervisor and assistant indirect buyer to process vendor managed inventory and purchase order transactions, as needed.
- Supports cycle counting, stockroom transactions utilizing the Plex system, and check e-mail and Teams on a daily basis.
- Track and inventory current and past due vendor orders.
- Provide support to the production and maintenance departments including processing requisition for materials.
- Responsible for stockroom transactions and to support accounting as needed.
- Maintain area cleanliness.
- UPS Account Holder – Returns
- Scan shipping receipts into Plex
- RMA – Request RMAs for receiving issues and ship back to supplier.
- Other Duties as assigned
PRIMARY COMPETENCIES:
- High School Diploma or GED; or 2+ years stockroom experience.
- Ability complete required paperwork.
- Possess problem solving abilities.
- Possess mechanical aptitude and ability to understand use of manufacturing inventory items.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to obtain mobile equipment certification.
- Possess strong organizational skills.
- Ability to utilize a computer in a Windows environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job is performed in an office environment working with standard office equipment such as copiers, telephones, computers, and filing cabinets. Some performed in work in conditions which may include seasonal hot and humid conditions, dust, noise and other elements for extended periods of time.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time, non-exempt position with scheduled hours Monday through Friday. Overtime may occur during the work week or weekends and will be based on production needs.
