ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**
- Part time stocking / Part time cashiering. Flexibility is necessary.
- Provide high-quality customer service in accordance with our Company’s customer service standards and policies and procedures.
- Stock a variety of perishable and dry products depending on needs of the business
- Support all Corporate / Division initiatives through flawless execution.
- Assist customers in the selection and purchase of items and offer advice as needed.
- Inspect all code dated items daily to ensure all items have valid code date.
- Examine product for freshness; remove old stock and expired stock as needed to ensure freshness of product on the sales floor.
- Receive product deliveries, and maintain cold-chain compliance and rotate stock as needed.
- Obtain product from receiving area and transport to coolers using hand truck, dolly and/or pallet jack.
- Maintain area and conduct business in accordance with all federal, state and local weights and measures, sanitation, food safety and general safety regulations and Company policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Help clean display areas and back room area, including floors, doors, cases, windows, and milk racks.
- Adhere to uniform and grooming policy as defined within company policy.
- Help maintain a culture of safety
- Checkout customers with speed, friendliness, and accuracy
JOB QUALIFICATIONS

- Self-motivated and driven to increase knowledge of Andronico's/Albertsons/Safeway products and share that knowledge with our customers
- Ability to provide regular and predictable attendance. (Employees may be scheduled to work early mornings,weekends and some holidays, and schedules may vary on a weekly basis)
- Ability to comply with workplace conduct standards
- Desired: Prior stocking or cashiering experience
- Must be able to learn our ordering systems, order and delivery days, and order according to store and company standards.
