This is a great entry-level position ideal for individuals interested in a career in health care or working in a dental office. As a Sterilization Technician, you will be a part of our back office team responsible for sterilizing instruments, equipment, and rooms. No prior experience is needed as training will be provided on the job!
Schedule: Monday- Thursday 7:45 PM-5:00 PM Friday 7:15 AM-3:00 PM Saturday 7:45 AM- 12:00 PM and 1xSat/Month
Location: Ambler, PA
What You Will Do
- Prepare work areas for treatments and procedures
- Disinfect and sterilize tools, equipment, chairs, counters, and surfaces, using sterilizers, aerators, or washers
- Check sterile supplies to ensure that they are not outdated
- Deliver tools to specified locations in the office
- Maintain records of inventory or tool usage and relay information to the office manager to replenish supplies when inventory is low
- Stock dental supplies
What You Will Need
- Proficient in English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Able to multitask and prioritize
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Collaborative, team player
- Ability to pass pre-employment background clearances required to work with pediatric patients
