Job Summary and Qualifications
We are looking for a compassionate and central sterile technician to provide technical support to patients of all populations. Our team is amazing, we consider ourselves a family who work hard to support each other and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. - You will maintain a clean, well-stocked, hazard free work area. Cleans and maintains patient care items &/or specialty trays for other departments.
- You will transport instruments sets and equipment to various units in the hospital as assigned or needed.
- You will demonstrate awareness of infection control and safety protocols.
- You will communicate information concerning instruments and equipment to the OR Nursing staff through correct/complete count sheets.
- You will communicate frequently with the SPD supervisor/OR Charge Nurse &/or Team Leader.
What qualifications you will need:
- Experience: Minimum one year Sterile Processing experience preferred.
