Shift:Monday – Friday 08:00 am – 05:00 pm; and occasional overtime based on the departmental needs.
Job Summary:The Marketing/Promotions Coordinator is responsible for supporting the marketing and public relations efforts of the UK College of Dentistry, including student recruitment, patient recruitment, alumni engagement, and overall general awareness of the college’s efforts.
This individual will support creative operations and fulfill basic graphic design needs for print and online channels. Operational duties include researching content for marketing/communication projects, communicating with internal/external stakeholders, representing the college at events, and supporting administrative needs.
Basic graphic design projects will be assigned, and projects will be completed following the provided brand guidelines. The ideal candidate will have an eye for quality design, be detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills.
Previous experience writing, editing, proof reading and managing content; Experience with social media content creation and reporting on metrics (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.); Basic understanding of HTML for web updates; Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects); Attention to detail; and an appreciation of visual design principles for effective communication.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :No
Preferred Education/Experience:Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations or related field; experience with Drupal Content Management System (CMS) preferable; experience in higher education and/or healthcare a plus; and 1-3 years in a marketing/communication role.
