Part-Time S.T.E.M. Curriculum Development Assistant (In-Person Position)
S.T.E.M. DevelopmentResponsibilities:
- Assist with the development of STEM Curriculum for children ages 7-17
- Assist with the development of programs and activities for children and teens to help facilitate STEM learning.
- Work directly with the CEO on fundraising to advance company projects, which may include grant writing, composing contracts, and examining budgets
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the CEO
- Effectively communicate any changes or updates to CEO, Managers, Staff, and Customers as needed.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email. Effectively troubleshoot simple issues that present themselves. Forward any unresolved issues to CEO.
- Maintain accurate and detailed filing system.
- Quickly retrieve any requested information (i.e., records, email, minutes, and other related documents) Prepare written summaries/ excel data sheets when needed.
- Respond to and/ or resolve administrative questions and inquiries.
- Coordinate and schedule travel, meetings, and appointments for managers or supervisors.
- Prepare agendas for scheduled meetings.
- Record and distribute minutes or other records for scheduled meetings.
- Maintain a system for tracking all expenses. (Liberty given to research and/or purchase approved accounting software)
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the CEO.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with all staff, outside consultants and vendors and employees.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- The ability to develop curriculum
- Knowledge of areas of S.T.E.A.M. and the ability to implement it into programs for learning
- Basic knowledge of coding languages
- Experience using AI
- Experience with Virtual Reality and Unity
- Creativity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain 360-degree communication processes for projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) or related software.
- Proficient with Google Workspace products.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as record keeping, mail management, time lines, and filing.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Internship
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
