Stem Cell Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with an educational background as a

lab technician to be responsible for assistance in our research projects, with a

focus on mesenchymal Stem Cells and extracellular vesicles/exosomes.

Job Description

 Culturing Stem Cells, EVs, and harvesting exosomes

 Work with Principal Investigator to plan, structure, and execute research

experiments

 Perform standard laboratory procedures involved in making required tests

and analyses

 Carrying out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies

 Performing quality control tests in the laboratory

 Maintaining and operating standard laboratory equipment

 Generates clear and complete records of experimental work

 Participates in publication of research results

 Performs other duties as required or assigned to technically support

scientific projects in the lab and other tasks that are assigned by the

Principal Investigator

 Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within

the scope of the duties in this job classification

 Understands and performs in accordance with all applicable regulatory and

compliance requirements

 Complies will all standard operating policies and procedures

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

 Experience culturing Stem Cells

 Experience working in a clean room

 Experience working with Spectrum Labs Kros Flo Research II TFF System

 Ability to work independently with minimum supervision required

 Proficient in research laboratory techniques required

 Strong detail orientation and analytical ability required

 Ability to accurately carry out experiments and tasks by following

established guidelines required

 Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks required

 Effective organizational and communication skills required

Education

 Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in biology,

chemistry, or equivalent scientific discipline required

Experience

 1-3 years relevant laboratory experience required``

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
