Steel Fabrication / CNC Manager - DIRECT HIRE!!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare operational schedules and welding activities to ensure production and quality of products.
- Oversee the setup and programming of welding equipment, CNC laser and plasma, 6 axis brake press, rolls, shears, ect.
- Ensures company policies, quality procedures and good manufacturing practices are understood and followed by employees.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment at all times.
- Interview and help train new employees.
- Ensures that all production paperwork is completed on a timely basis.
Skills & Specifications:
- In-depth understanding and working knowledge of welding, including MIG, TIG, and Robotic CNCtechnology.
- Ability to read and understand production drawings, good knowledge of measuring tools and product tolerances.
- Strong organizational skills, including planning, scheduling, prioritizing and record-keeping.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels.
- Organized and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of Supervisory/Managerial experience in the Metal Forming and Fabrication industry.
- Strong technical background that includes knowledge of metal fabricating processes and equipment.
- Knowledge of various metals
